Libretto, ca. 1855, for the opera, based on Washington Irving's story, composed by George F. Bristow, which was first produced in 1855. It appears to be a working manuscript, with revisions and deletions in pencil, and some pages of text laid in. Several pages have been cut out. J. Howard Wainwright's card is pasted to the cover.
